nydge - producer / songwriter

Nigel Van Hemmye, aka "Nydge" (pronounced n-eye-dge), is an LA-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist composer from Detroit, MI. He was born in a hospital, and despite being named after a race car driver, he drives a reliable Honda Civic. He knows more about synthesizers than he does about microeconomics. Like most of America, he dropped out of community college.

He's responsible for tens of millions of streams across every genre of popular music you can think of, but he finds his sweet spot working alongside artists in the alternative pop world.

When he's not producing for artists he loves, Nigel does sound design, custom music, and mixing for TV & Advertising clients like Hulu, Ford, and ESPN. In a previous life he shared stages as a live performer with the likes of BANKS, SG Lewis, & Quinn XCII, but these days he mostly stays in his studio or surfs. He's one of the few people who can write you a pop hit, score your commercial, AND replace the brake pads on your car-- all in the same day if needed.
